NEWA Security Group established in 2015 with the aim to fight and combat crime in South Africa, through the provision of high quality security services, rendered by our experienced, dedicated and driven security personnel.

The Group has the need to serve and protect South African businesses and the community at large. The market segment that we serve includes shopping centres, commercial, retail, residential estates and churches. .

Our armed response personnel are competent as per the firearms control act regulations. All our security personnel are PSIRA registered.

OPERATING MODEL

  • Our model of operation covers determining work within the company and at each individual site.

  • Site due diligence before finalizing a service level agreement.

  • Adherence to contract terms and conditions with clients, ensuring confidentiality, strike action.

  • Supervision of all of our personnel, performance evaluation and monitoring of security services offered.

  • Reporting of incidents and preparation of weekly reports.

  • Preparation of monthly management reports.

  • Contingency/emergency control procedure to ensure compliance with our clients’ service level agreements.

  • The company always appoints a site manager an competent supervisor responsible for all tasks and duties to be performed on site to ensure clients’ satisfaction.

  • The site manager is fully familiar with the terms and conditions.

SCREENING, TRAINING & SKILLING

Our Security personnel are screened using PSIRA and the South African Police Services before being employed by the company

They are trained and equipped with all the necessary knowledge, skills and competence as per the PSIRA and SAPS regulations, therefore all NEWA Security personnel have been cleared of participation in any criminal activities.

Our Security personnel are trained in terms of SASSETA, from entry level to highly advanced security guard level.

All the security personnel are equipped and trained in the following courses:

  • PSIRA

  • Grades (E,D,C,B,A)

  • SASSETA

  • Skills Levels Security Courses (Skills level one to five, General Security Practitioner, Fundamental and Electives, Management Security at an event)

  • Firearm Competency Course (SAPS,ITA and PFTC accredited).

  • All our security officers are fully trained, vetted, uniformed, and hold a PSIRA Certificate

CCTV INSTALLATIONS

We offer professionally installed closed circuit television (CCTV) user systems.

Apart from acting as a powerful deterrent tool, the CCTV systems can provide vital evidence when crimes (i.e. burglary, theft, vandalism and assaults) are committed, increasing conviction rates through provision of crystal clear images of the event.
